Accra, Ghana – A delegation of 66 students and 10 staff from The Citadel School, located at Jisonayili in Tamale, paid an educational visit to the Parliament of Ghana on Wednesday, July 23, as part of efforts to expose students to the country’s democratic institutions and leadership.
During the visit, the students met the Member of Parliament for the Sagnarigu Constituency, Hon. Attah Issah, who warmly welcomed them to Parliament. They also had the opportunity to interact with several other Members of Parliament.
Addressing the students, Hon. Attah Issah encouraged them to take their education seriously, emphasizing that hard work, discipline, and dedication are the keys to achieving success. He urged the students to remain focused on their studies so they could grow into responsible citizens and future leaders capable of contributing to Ghana’s development.
Other MPs who interacted with the delegation also inspired the students, reminding them that today’s learners are tomorrow’s leaders. They encouraged the students to remain committed to their academic pursuits and uphold good character throughout their educational journey.
The visit formed part of The Citadel School’s commitment to providing practical learning experiences that complement classroom education.
