NPP APPOINTS DR. FRED KYEI ASAMOAH AS CO-CHAIR OF TOURISM, CULTURE AND CREATIVE ARTS COMMITTEE

The opposition New Patriotic Party has appointed Fred Kyei Asamoah as Co-Chair of its Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts Committee as part of newly constituted standing and sector committees of the party.

According to a statement dated May 8, 2026, the party said the committees were constituted by the National Executive Committee and National Council in line with provisions of the party’s constitution.

Under the Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts Committee, Fred Kyei Asamoah will serve alongside Barbara Oteng Gyasi as Co-Chair.

Other members named in the committee include Naa Donorkie, Arnold Asamoah Baidoo, Nana Adjoa Asante and Raynelle Nana Yaa Boadu, who serves as Secretary.

The committees are expected to support policy development, communication and strategic direction within the party ahead of its reorganization activities and future political engagements.
