The Member of Parliament for Dormaa West has appealed to residents, commuters and business owners to exercise patience and cooperate with contractors as ongoing road construction projects across the constituency cause temporary disruptions to businesses, water supply, electricity connections and movement.
In a press release, the MP’s office acknowledged that the ongoing construction activities have affected daily activities, including commercial operations, pedestrian movement and vehicular traffic.
The office noted that excavation works, road diversions and other engineering activities have created inconvenience for residents and businesses but stressed that the disruptions are temporary and form part of efforts to improve road infrastructure across the constituency.
It maintained that the long-term benefits of improved roads would outweigh the temporary difficulties associated with the construction works.
The MP’s office has therefore called on traditional authorities, religious leaders, business owners, motorists, pedestrians and other stakeholders to remain calm, exercise patience and cooperate with contractors and relevant authorities to facilitate the smooth and timely completion of the projects.
It further urged residents to support the construction process while acknowledging the challenges being experienced by communities and businesses during the ongoing works.
