The Member of Parliament for Fred Kyei Asamoah has hosted a Youth Development Forum in Offinso North Constituency, bringing together more than 500 young people to discuss opportunities for employment, entrepreneurship and community development.
More than 500 young people from across Offinso North Constituency gathered for a Youth Development Forum organized by their Member of Parliament, Fred Kyei Asamoah, to explore solutions to youth unemployment and promote community participation in local development.
The forum created a platform for participants to share ideas and concerns on issues affecting young people, including employment opportunities, entrepreneurship, agriculture, education and civic engagement.
Speaking at the event, the MP emphasized the critical role of youth leadership and innovation in shaping the future of the constituency. He urged young people to take an active role in development initiatives and work collectively towards building a more prosperous community.
Discussions during the forum focused on practical areas such as vocational and digital skills development, youth entrepreneurship and strategies for transforming agriculture into a profitable venture for young people.
One of the major highlights of the forum was an innovation session where youth groups proposed several initiatives aimed at improving livelihoods. These included the formation of agribusiness cooperatives, the establishment of digital skills hubs, youth entrepreneurship programmes and community-led development projects.
The MP reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening youth engagement in the constituency through regular youth forums, skills training initiatives and continuous dialogue platforms designed to empower young people and support sustainable development.
