Former Member of Parliament for Anyaa Sowutuom, Dr. Dickson Adomako Kissi, has applauded the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for submitting petitions seeking the removal of Electoral Commission Chairperson Jean Mensa, her deputies, and Special Prosecutor Kissi Agyebeng.
Speaking on Happy Kaseɛbɔ, Dr. Adomako Kissi said the opposition party was delivering on its promise to hold key public institutions accountable.
“They are playing by what they promised, and I must commend them,” he noted.
He further urged political actors to allow state institutions to operate independently, without partisan interference.
Dr. Adomako Kissi also lamented what he described as an unhealthy trend where hardworking public appointees lose their positions once the appointing president exits office. He said such practices damage institutional continuity and undermine democratic norms.
