Christians encouraged to demonstrate Christlike behaviour, avoid social vices in 2026

Founder and Leader of Jesus is Alive Prayer Ministry, Prophet Nakoa Isaac, has called on Christians to live exemplary lives by demonstrating the character of Christ as a witness to others.

Speaking in an interview with HappyGhana.com reporter Nana Antwi Boasiako on Wednesday, December 31, the second day of the church’s end-of-year programme themed “Breaking Ancestral Curses,” Nakoa Isaac stressed that Christians, as followers of Christ, must reflect His character in their daily lives as they prepare for the 31st Night crossover service.

He noted that as the country moves into 2026, Christians must understand their divine calling and strive to live lives that encourage others and glorify Christ.

“As we cross over into 2026, every Christian must understand his or her calling and live an exemplary life that showcases Christ to the world,” he said.

Nakoa Isaac further urged believers to desist from attitudes and behaviours that bring disrepute to Christianity, encouraging them to uphold moral values and live upright lives in the new year.

He also advised the youth to avoid social vices such as alcohol abuse, drug use, robbery and other forms of misconduct, stressing that such habits could derail their future.

“The youth are our future leaders. When they involve themselves in smoking, robbery and other negative activities, it destroys their potential. In 2026, they must desist from such acts to secure a better future,” he added.

Prophet Nakoa Isaac wished all Ghanaians good health, prosperity and a fulfilling life as the nation enters the year 2026.
