Court remands 40-year-old man over alleged murder of wife

The Juaboso Magistrate Court, presided over by His Worship Samuel Entee Jnr Esq, has remanded a 40-year-old man, Christopher Kabore, into police custody for allegedly killing his wife at Sehwi Saa Kwasikrom, near Bonsu Nkwanta-Nkyesenkokoo, in the Juaboso District of the Western North Region.

According to the prosecution, the incident followed a domestic dispute. The suspect is alleged to have inflicted multiple cutlass wounds on his wife and later slashed her throat after accusing her of refusing to have sexual relations with him for the past four months.
After the alleged killing, Kabore reportedly buried the body of his wife, Nadeye Kasore, 31, on one of their farms. Following his arrest, police ordered the exhumation of the body, which has since been deposited at the Juaboso Government Hospital mortuary for preservation and further investigations.
The suspect has been charged with murder and is expected to reappear before the court on January 20, 2026.
